"Global Local Health Room" in the western region of Tottori Prefecture.
[ Japanese|English ]
After the completion of the Elementary Japanese class hosted by the Tottori Prefecture International Exchange Foundation, we held a "Global Local Health Room". Four students and three faculty members from Tottori College of Nursing visited at the Yonago Convention Center. The participants were five people in total: two from Indonesia, two from Vietnam, and one from Germany.
First, we divided into groups and used a question box to engage in an interactive session where we answered various questions. Everyone spoke Japanese well and eagerly explained topics related to their own countries. Next, we carried out measurements of height, weight, body fat percentage, and blood pressure. Health consultations were also offered by the faculty members for those who were interested. It was a meaningful time that allowed us to enjoy cross-cultural exchange while discussing the healthcare situations in each country.
