Global MachinoHokennsitu in Central Region
On Wednesday, October 18, we held a MachinoHokennsitu(Local Health Class)in Central Region
Three foreigners who are taking Japanese classes at the Tottori International Foundation, three volunteers and five students participated. We were worried about whether we would be able to understand Japanese, but to my surprise, everyone spoke Japanese very fluently. Through blood pressure measurements and SUGOROKU’made by students, we were able to learn about the differences in eating habits and cultures in each country. Even if the countries are different, such as quitting smoking, abstaining from alcohol, and consuming a lot of vegetables, the basics of health promotion are the same!
We had a great time. Thank you very much.
